Music to Our Ears

UC Davis has an impressive line-up for musical performances in these upcoming months. In case you haven't heard the news (or the millions of screaming fans giddy with anticipation), here's the 411 on the music scene this spring.


Drake

with Kendrick Lamar & A$AP Rocky

Drake got his start on the popular TV show Degrassi: The Next Generation and is now producing hit songs like "Best I Ever Had" and "Every Girl." The Club Paradise Tour will be bringing this well-known rapper to the UC Davis Pavilion on Wednesday, March 7th at 8pm.

Tickets are currently sold out.
Do not lose your tickets! Treat them like cash as they cannot be re-printed.

If you decide to purchase at another website other than Tickets.com (such as Craigslist, Stub Hub, etc.), you purchase at your own risk.


Steve Aoki, Datsik

& Special Guests

Aoki is known for the singles: "Turbulence," "No Beef," and "Earthquakey People" and Datsik is known for his remixes and collaborations. Aoki's own label DIM MAK is hosting the Dead Meat Tour that will bring the "electro house musician" himself and Datsik, a dubstep DJ, to Freeborn Hall on Wednesday, March 14th at 7 pm.

General admission tickets are $25, available at the Freeborn Hall Ticket Office or online here.

Any remaining tickets will be $30 on the day of the show.


Bon Iver

with All Tiny Creatures

Bon Iver--French for "good winter" and misspelled intentionally--is a folk band established by Justin Vernon, an indie singer-songwriter. Their top hits include "Skinny Love" and "Holocene." Get lost in their sweet sound at Freeborn Hall on Tuesday, April 17th!

General admission tickets are $39.50 and go on sale at Tickets.com on Sunday, February 12 at 10 am.

Discounted tickets for UC Davis students go on sale Monday, February 13 at 12 pm, limited to 200 tickets. Transactions are cash only and a valid UCD student ID is required to purchase a ticket, limit of two student ID's and two tickets per person.


Florence + the Machine

Best known for award-winning "Dog Days Are Over" and "You've Got the Love," Florence Welch's soulful voice will resonate the walls of the Mondavi Center on Wednesday, April 18th at 7:30 pm.

Tickets are $42.50, but the Mondavi Center Ticket Office only has a certain number available for this event. Please check online at Ticketmaster.com for availability.


The Shins

An indie rock band that released "New Slang" and "Phantom Limb," The Shins will be serenading the masses at the Mondavi Center on Monday, April 23rd at 8 pm.
