Friday June 18, 2010This week some of our CES marketing team was in Long Beach, CA for the HSMAI Affordable Meetings tradeshow, and as usual they had a great success. While meeting folks from all over the country, they were able to showcase UC Davis in great style, wearing our new department apparel. A two day event jam packed with teach-ins, showcasing, and beautiful Southern California sunshine, it was another great opportunity to let event planners from all over the country that UC Davis is not only an educational institution, but a great place to have your conference or event whether it be academic, professional, or personal. Great job ladies!

My friend's brother-in-law is a project coordinator in an established clothing company in Chicago. The Accounting Department of the company will be having a conference next month. I will inform him about UC Davis for their conference venue needs. He said that his brother-in-law's boss wants a conference hall that is like a D.C. meeting space. The company's branch in Washington always holds their meetings and conferences in one of the best meeting rooms (Washington D.C.) area.
